God knows I’ve had my share of silly advice from parents, grandparents and random elders.

It may not be “dating” advice per sa, but what about the “Always wear clean underwear in case you’re in an accident?”

My grandma always told me that “one sure way to stay out of trouble with a boy was to wear the worst pair of ripped up underwear you had - that way you’re sure not to wanna get nekkid!”
